The answer is definitely the Live at the Sam Houston Coliseum album you were talking about. I have both the live album and MM-Mel, Sam Houston and is one in which he speaks of Julie being a racehorse in Kentucky. I love that album. It's fun, it's entertaining, and does great versions of "Who is Julie and every day the sky on that. Usually I do not like live versions well.
